One instructor is advocating using a kneeling position to direct the trajectory of the bullet upward (for use in taking a shot in a house if family is present, apparently, so a stray will not hit the no shoot).
Is there any merit to this? Aside from not being able to move, are there any problems with this that I am missing? Thank you. |

No, there is nothing wrong with the technique, when used for it was designed for. If you have a hostage situation and your back drop is full of people, yes dropping to a knee and taking the shot, angling it upword, is ONE possible technique. At least this way, if you have no other choice but to take the shot, at least your thinking about not hitting innocent bystanders. Just food for thought... |
